Sofía Casanova
Sofía Casanova (1861-1958) was a prolific writer. She made a name for herself first and foremost as a journalist, and her journalism on the First World War (1914-1918) and Russian Revolution (1917) were Spaniards' first access to information about these conflicts. She married a Polish diplomat and lived for a time in Poland, and we can see this affinity for Eastern Europe in many of her literary texts. Casanova produced twelve works of kiosk literature, but they are not yet under public domain. Please see the Texts page for titles and contact me for PDFs.
