Crafternoon: Vision Boards

Thursday, February 1st, 4-6 PM in the LNDL IDEAspace. Led by Mallory Walker.

Come by the library between 4 and 6 PM on Thursday, February 1st to make a 2024 Vision Board! All materials provided.

Pop-Up Class: The Art of Making Bread

Tuesday, February 6th, 4-5 PM in Loyola’s Donnelly Science Center. Led by Andrew Schoeffield. Register for the Art of Making Bread here.

Good bread warms both the heart and the soul. This beginners’ class shows you just how easy it is to make your own bread. It also explores why it is probably a good idea to make our own bread, rather than purchasing the bread-like products available at the store.

Pop-Up Class: Laser Cut Valentine’s Day Jewelry

Monday, February 12th, 4:30-6 PM, in LNDL’s Lab B. Led by Heather Braxton. Register for Laser Cut Valentine’s Day Jewelry here.

Learn how to create jewelry designs in Adobe Illustrator, then learn how to cut and engrave it with the laser cutter at this demo! We’ll be making Valentine’s Day themed jewelry examples.

Learn about LNDL’s laser cutter, get certified to use it, and learn about practical applications of laser cutting in the field of engineering! This class is part of Loyola’s Engineering Week programming. Anyone is welcome–you don’t need to be a Loyola student or an engineer! All you need is an interest in laser cutting.
