Reading is transformative: Sublimation Notebooks pop up class. Wednesday, December 11th, 4-5 PM, LNDL Idea Space

Learn about sublimation with a dry-ice demo, then customize your own bookmark and/or notebook with a photo or artwork! Capped at 12 participants, register at the link above!  

Create-A-Critter

Make a stuffed animal and decorate with accessories! Each participant receives 1 stuffed animal to create and decorate. Registration required and limited to Loyola University Maryland and Notre Dame of Maryland University students. Capped at 45 participants, register at the link above!

Zen Joy Tea, Snacks, & Crafts

Parkhurst Dining will provide snacks and organize tabling from Zen Joy Tea, a company that provides teas created for stress and anxiety relief. Parkhurst will also provide de-stressing activities, such as food-related coloring books and DIY stress balls.  

Peace Meadow Nature Walk 

Peace Meadow Nature Walk, Friday, 12/13 from 1:30-2 PM. Meet in LNDL's Learning Lobby. Take a walk through the Peace Meadow on campus and learn about native plant species and wildlife.

Take a walk through the Peace Meadow on campus and learn about native plant species and wildlife with Michelle Williams, LNDL’s Access Services Operations Supervisor. Michelle is a committed environmental steward and a certified Weed Warrior with Baltimore City. 

Ongoing activities in IDEAspace, 12/9-12/19  

Check out our ongoing Stressbusters Stations: Crafting and Gaming, Tea and Snacks, Video Game Zone, and Zine Zone. All located on the first floor.

Zine Zone 

Collage materials will be available to create zines or collages onsite at the library.   

Crafts, Games, and Activities Table  

The first floor of the library will feature crafts and activities such as origami kits, Lego kits, Magna-Tiles, Jenga, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, etc.  

Video Game Station

 A video game station will be set up on the first floor of the library.  

Snack Station 

Tea, fruit, granola bars, and candy will be available near the Help Desk.
