Webinar #1: The Art of Storytelling – Tuesday Feb. 3, 2026 5:30 PM-7:00 PM EST

The Art of Storytelling is the first webinar in the Healing through the Humanities series that will introduce the core principles and practices of narrative medicine through guided discussions of audiovisual works. Students will analyze communication strategies, narrative ethics, and the skills required for the sharing of others’ stories to better understand the human dimensions of health and healing.

This webinar is required for students enrolled in AH*188*01 and BL*188*01 and CM*308*01S.

    Healing Through the Humanities is an interdisciplinary workshop series providing students, particularly those studying humanities, psychology, or pre-health majors the opportunity to engage in literary and art analysis, including insights on how to create pathways to interpret experiences of health and healing.

    The series will culminate in a final showcase of created works hosted by
    Narrative Medicine expert Nicole Robinson, MFA.
