The library can work with departments and individual faculty on special digitization projects. Some examples of projects created by the Library Digital Services Department:

Advanced Technical Help with our web site and login problems.

Users need a 14 digit library barcode from the back of their ID to get to  databases and to check their account.
If  you don't have one you can call Customer Services at 410-617-6801. (email)
Most of the time you can troubleshoot problems with your browser using these tips.
If you are still having problems, please call our Reference Department at 410-617-6802, or via email.
Advanced problems will be referred to Digital Services during business hours.

Scanning and Digitization Services.

Our Department can scan texts and convert them back into Word  documents, PDFs, and web pages among other formats. We use the highest caliber scanning hardware and OCR software to read and convert texts. Scanning course materials is a service for faculty. We also provide technical support in this area to faculty and their students in a disabilities support context.  For more information, start with our Customer Services Department or Disabilities Support Librarian.
