Lindsay Gioioso
Undergraduate Student Researcher
(Class of 2018) is a finance and art history double major. Lindsay believes that it is one thing to go to a museum to look at the artexhibited on the walls and
in the cases, but another to understand how the art came to be displayed in the first place. She took this course because she wanted to discover the hard work that goes on behind the scenes of these exhibitions. Lindsay can now say that she has an entirely new appreciation of museums, for which she is grateful. Lindsay also thinks that it is important to remember that a museum is a business as well. She hopes to incorporate both her finance and art history skills into a career in the museum industry.
